Netease Technology News March 6 news, according to foreign media reports, Nvidia today announced the acquisition of SwiftStack, a software-centric data storage and management platform that supports public cloud, on-premises and edge deployments.
SwiftStack’s recently released platform upgrades focused on improving support for artificial intelligence (AI), high-performance computing, and accelerated computing workloads are undoubtedly the areas of greatest interest to Nvidia in SwiftStack.
“For the entire SwiftStack team, building an AI supercomputer is exciting,” SwiftStack co-founder and CEO Joe Arnold said in today’s statement. and look forward to contributing to its world-leading accelerated computing solutions.”
The companies did not disclose the purchase price, but SwiftStack previously raised about $23.6 million in Series A and B rounds led by Mayfield Fund and investment bank OpenView Venture Partners. Other investors include Storm Ventures and UMC Capital.
