1 Overview

This application note explains how to implement sensorless vector control software for driving a permanent magnet synchronous motor (PMSM) using the RA6T2 microcontroller, and how to use the motor control development support tool “Renesas Motor Workbench”.

Note that this software uses the algorithm described in the application note “Sensorless Vector Control of Permanent Magnet Synchronous Motors (Algorithm)” (R01AN3786), so refer to that note for details on the algorithm.

Need to change jumper pins to use this system.

Please change the jumper (JP8 and JP11) connections from connecting pins 1-2 to pins 2-3.
